I was at eastpoint BK the other day (quite some time ago), the radio station was playing this really nice song and I found it very familiar but couldn't recall its name, so I copied the lyrics down and the melody got stuck in my head.

While my itunes was on shuffle today, this song was blasting through the speakers, and I put it on repeat ever since 8D (I have 8000+ songs and only listen to around half of it so I don't even know songs exist sometimes -.-)


But I think Instrumentals, orchestra, band music and soundtracks are still best for studying (Y)




I spent my whole day at home today. Wasn't all TOO productive but it wasn't that bad either, I guess. Hello Kaiying and Ashley do you guys still read this, how was your studying session at the airport hahaha, I haven't gone there for a loooong time .__. (and my last popeye's meal was....IDK WHEN O:)

Coming to school was kinda a bad idea. KINDA.

Firstly, it was the torrential rain. Even with the gigantic care bear umbrella, my entire skirt got wet along with a portion of my socks while walking walking to terie's van. Which was probably just less than a 50 metres from my block. Terie got freaking wet too, but the condensation on the windows were quite pretty in a sense.

The drive up the hill took forever due to the massive jam. Humans can walk much faster than the van can drive. Seriously. But due to that, assembly was cancelled (Y), and people didn't have to serve detention for being late.


Secondly...lets skip the double geog periods, they were plain crap.

The rest of the lessons weren't too interesting, though the class got pretty entertained when Mr Poh got SO DAMN HIGH when doing some gay maths sum on the board. Genius, yes. A genius with a transparent shirt 8D

Bio was spent on a paper and sitting next to Leona's fun cause eh, we draw on each other and do stupid stuff so that's great. Entertainment while studying. Though leona's making me a little crazy these days. I was asking miss poh about the role of the seminal vesicles and well, it came with a little question, HMM.


During recess, I added THREE FREAKING SPOONFULS OF CHILLI INTO MY FISHBALL SOUP (noodles seperate). the first spoonful killed my tongue, but the soup became sweeter and less spicy after each additional spoonful o_O killed my stomach after that, anyway.


After school, I went to the library with Sheena, Terie, Felicia to study. Sheena left after awhile while Yuncheng came to join us (to teach felicia maths HAHA). Was completely NOT productive for me because the freaking cubicles irritate me. They should put those sliding windows so we can talk to each other (to ask questions).



Left for Eastpoint after awhile. Its the first time in 9 months since I've walked down the hill alone I THINK.

Didn't do too much studying at eastpoint 'cause I couldn't concentrate. DAMNIT I NEED NEW EARPHONES. Saw loolooanqi there, and I'm reminded of my friday choir practices ): I miss you guys alot!

Anyway, I saw this very cute girl (daughter of a worker there) sitting near the entrance when BK was about to lock their doors. How I wish I've taken a picture of her ): A lady sighed at me and gave me a very weird look after I left. Anyway....

4L had breakfast at simpang in the morning!!

Almost all the guys turned up, but there were only a few girls. Namely, Sheena, Terie, Felicia, Leongying, Germaine, Jeanette and I! Terie and I waited for damnn long for bus 10 to arrive, and we were perspiring quite alot by that time. She was damn fast anyway, woke up at 645 still reach void deck faster than I did @.@

Jeanette called to say there were only 3 people there at around 710 but when we reached at 720, around 5 tables were already filled @.@ Jeanette went to the wrong place hahahaha! Just prata-ed all the way, waited for damn long and was almost late. there were only three guys, cr hn wj, on the GIRL'S TABLE hahahah.



WE TOOK A CLASS PHOTO! too bad my camera cable ain't working yet, you'll get them soon i guess ~_~



So, we reached school just on time for PE. DID I SAY WE TOTALLY OWNED 1C IN CAPTAIN'S BALL?! Did the same last week and the game was very fun ^_^ today's score was 37 - 9 yo. anyway our opponent aren't just noobs or anything, they have 6 netballers I heard, pretty good ones too. Sports = good way to de-stress.


school was just a waste of time seriously, I should've ponned. No point memorizing zuowens at this crucial period of time, imo. Bio is the ONLY useful period, its the only reason I go to school now actually.

Sat next to leona cause felicialim wasn't in school, did some stupid stuff like drawing hideous stuff. Leona's crazy, all the better. PLUS she takes bio ^_^



As for my decision, I CHANGED it again, but i'll stick with it this time round. DON'T TELL YOU WHAT!

(taking a break from the irritating facts!!!!)

I've made two important decisions today.


My first decision concerns my schedule tomorrow. 'cmon, make a guess. You can't? Find out tomorrow.

Second decision...ahahaha I'm not gonna tell you, its just gotta do with the hated word of the century: chemistry. Guess what, the moles can start lasering each other off our skin while the anodes and cathodes can start crossing over (chiasma HAHA) and screw up the entire set up for all i care.

If I hadn't been a lazyarse at the start of the year, or rather, the middle of sec three, I wouldn't be doing this. But time is ticking, ticking, tickinggg........


Bio and geography, on the other hand, happen to be my two favourite subjects so I'll piaaaa like crazy for these, same goes for history and emaths. Amaths will be done too, just to be on the safe side.


Life's good. (...) Not much progress made today though, some binomials done (freaking tough question with 8!, 9! and 10! etc.), and some parts of the circulatory system.

Anyway, I must be the laggiest person on planet earth.

I only heard about the freaking china milk situation when Annia sms-ed me about it. Hah, its really dumb. If you happen to be slightly more laggy concerning this piece of news than me, which I deem highly impossible, here's what:

Farmers and middlemen in China have added loads of Melamine, a chemical used to boost protein readings in milk to disguise substandard and watered down milk, in milk powders for the past few years. Recently, they have increased the amount of Melamine in their products, causing many babies to fall ill and four have been reported dead in china.


(don't eat M&M's, snickers, mentos yoghurt, dove chocs, oreo wafersticks, mon milk, dutchlady, wall's all natural mango, mini poppers ice cream, magnum ice cream, moo sandwich icecream, mini cornetto, youcan ice cream) LOL WHAT A HUGE LIST

We obviously know this is not the first incident concerning the lousy products from mainland china -.- They have uh, school uniform and sofas that cause skin allergies, fake eggs, poisonous toys, more poisonous milk powders, fake red beans or something. etc.

In my opinion, they're trying to destroy the human population or their economy. People are getting smarter to not buy food products from them, so too bad. Unfortunately, I've consumed countless plates and boxes of China made products so eh, goodluck to me, you, you, you, you and you.



Was hoping for the day after tomorrow anyway, somebody here doesn't want to live after the age of 40 because I'll probably be sick and tired of life. If mother earth doesn't destroy us soon, let these food do the painful job. HAHA.

America's economy is suffering a hell lot too...the earth is dying but I'm only willing to die at least after 35 leh how???? I still have plans for the future you know (think all my friends have been brainwashed by me talking about my future plans HAHA!!)

Horrible might be the word to describe my results this time round (and the past year), but I'm not going to give up. i repeat. I am NOT, NOT GOING TO GIVE UP.

Somehow the VJC talk reminded me of how much I wanted to go there since I was primary 4. You might be rolling around the floor and laughing, but well, I've found encouragement from a few of my friends so yup, emma DON'T STOP BELIEVING!!! (that msn nick is gone though). Small chance of getting in given my current situation, but I don't care, I'm gonna work hard. Thanks ya'll, you know who you are right ^_^


About chem...i'll take some time to think about it. Drop or don't drop? Drop = more time for other subjects, more chances of getting the As, but an F9 in my cert. don't drop...chance of passing chem, but abit risky for the rest. Damn it.




I'm starting to feel REALLY REALLY guilty for being such a lazy arse for the past 2 years but that's the past and its too late for regret.

After school today, I went for lunch with Kaiying and Ashley at 85. Was feeling really down over my results, so ky was putting her hand over my shoulder while walking down haha. After lunch, we decided to walk to tanah merah mrt station (the long way), passing by a playground on our way. (took us around 20 minutes)

You know the place at the other side of the storm water collection pond outside the condo? yup, that's the place. we fooled around for awhile, took videos before we continued our journey down. (shall show you the videos soon)

I. DISCOVERED. MY. FILE. WAS. MISSING.



the thick thick file with EVERYTHING was....m i s s i n g. freaked out, and WALKED back to 85 with them again (15 mins walk?!). Under the scorching sun with all out bags and stuff. THANKS YOU TWO. REALLY. ALOT.

went 85, asked cleaners, they saw nothing. I freaked out okay.

then we WALKED up to school, up the chang cheng (AND SAW AN EARTHWORM THE SIZE OF MY SHOE. NOT KIDDING, I HAVE A PHOTO OF IT) and back to class.



IT WAS THERE!!!! but the doors were locked -__- I think we've walked more than 2 km by then and were REALLY exhausted.

and then we walked back down the the mrt AGAIN



eh, i think i made the thing look really..simple. toook us around 1 hour 45 from the time after lunch till i found the thing in school -___- was late for tuition (1 hr 20 mins)




Left my wallet in school yesterday and called alot of people and got wanzhen to bring it home for me (THANKS!!!) Think it was leongying and the rest who discovered it lol, they kept calling me while I was at the underpass x.X thanks you guys too~


Left wallet in canteen this morning, ashley tong (thanks also lol!) called sheena and when I went back up to class the girls were like, "EMMA, WHERE'S YOUR WALLET?!?!"

me: 'huh. wallet? OMG OMG WHERE IS MY WALLET?!"



-____- kill me. now. lost my wallet two days in a row, and a file which caused ALOT of trouble (to my two friends too)

Lesse, stuff have been happening lately..


I went for art classes yesterday (finally), it was rather fun cause we were doing weird poses for each other for 3 minute sketches and pencil portraits and drawing the bendable wooden figure! Sadly, it'll be my last lesson till the end of the O's cause my mom banned me from going ):

Xiner Kaying yeeteng and I walked down to bugis together, xiner and I stayed to get some yummy food ^_^



well, I got into some trouble just to go for this ONE lesson. lets not go further into that, yup.

Had myself a nice little morning (like real) today, an okay afternoon (half of it sucked like hell, same reason as the morning), and a great evening/night.

I CLEANED UP MY TABLE AND I FEEL SO PROUD OF MYSELF ^_^

30th august:

Ain't this the coolest cup you've seen? The straws are poked at the sides, and this small container filled with fried chicken bits is put in it, while the drink is below (Y) how innovative.

Though I have no idea why they have two straws and not one, three, four or five, like that people how to share or eat alone?!

I made the background white so it'd be cooler HAHA.


The shop's called BBQChicken, at ehub. Dammit, the meal tortilla wraps look kinda small but I couldn't finish them that day -.-

Did I say I walked out of the shop without paying the bill and only realised that fact 15 minutes later when I was at NTUC, and had to go back and wait for a looong time for my bill to be processed. VERY lame hahaha, this tells us that teenagers like me nowadays are TOO used to fastfood O:



31st august:

When I was studying with Kaiying and Ashley at Kobayashi, this happened.

Its just interesting how the wire went below the table and the earpieces (or whatever you call them) amazingly comes back out from the opposite side xD


When we became kaiying's FOD (factors of distraction) and she moved to another table to study.
We grasped the chance to vandalize her cup, tyvm :D


THAT WAS ALSO THE NIGHT WHERE KAIYING FOUND MY IC IN MY WALLET. let me tell you why that's amazing.

1) I thought I lost my IC during june, went through the trouble of going to the police station

2) I was finally free during August to make my IC, that day was a very rushed one, where Annia ran down to the mrt with me such that I could reach ICA on time (5pm) (THANKYOU DARLING). Ashley, Kaiying and Siyun went through the trouble to help bring my hamster to the vet and I had to meet them again after that. Thanks to the four of you for helping me so much, I was quite touched :D

3) on 30th august, kaiying found it in my wallet. ALL THESE MONTHS, I THOUGHT I'VE LOST IT, I CHECKED THROUGH MY WALLET A MILLION TIMES AND DIDN'T SEE IT AT ALL. I went through the trouble of making it and..OMG ITS IN MY WALLET ALL ALONG?!

4) I have to thank kaiying cause the last date of getting the $100 refund was...1st september..the next day. HAHA. wow, that's really close @.@ if not i'd have two ICs LOL.

met ashley to buy kaiying's present


got myself a LARGE mashed potato. Huge, i'd say.


After that I went to ICA with my mom to see some officer. Told them I got it back and waited for half an hour to get it in cash?! (all in 10 dollar notes) o_O

I treated them to icecream cones (one was mine) cause I lost a bet last time lol. Ohmy, they need more experienced ice-cream twirlers, its really....quite ugly D:

k I'm offfffff ^_^

Blow me, I woke up at 1 am this afternoon after being totally zonked out from yesterday's activities. Cor Blimey, that was the most blinding decision ever.


Hmm, that was SOME attempt in speaking British Slang and I admit I'm an utter failure at that. Why the sudden interest in that? I've just finished watching the romantic comedy, Notting Hill, which was a pretty big hit back in 1999 when it was released.

Forget about all the stuff I've said about how I think romantic shows aren't for me. Notting Hill's just great. Fantasic soundtrack, Fab acting, Fairly interesting plot, notable quotes...just generally good. Shall not comment too much or I'll just ruin everything..



The words on the poster probably won't attract you though. At least not me, at first, cause it sounds like just any other normal predictable plot:


"Can the most famous film star in the world fall for just an ordinary guy?"

I guess you don't watch it JUST for the plot, its for those little details, sensible stuff and the way they film it to, say, represent the passing of time and other bits of details like these.

The romantic moments were just, awww. Plus it makes you think, you might criticize and hate somebody for doing something, but seriously put yourself in her shoes, there's always a reason behind it. You might say, "oh gawd, you're so abso-bloody-lutely stupid for making that move!". But if you're in the person's situation, you might have done the same. You can try to but never fully understand another unless you're living his/her life.


I almost wanted to hit anna scott in the movie for blaming the guy about something that wasn't his fault to start with, but the logic above really fits, yep.



Lets see, there was something really sweet that was written on the bench in a park they went to:

"For June who always loved this garden -
From Joseph who always sat beside her"

and anna said: "so people do spend their whole lives together..."

(she's a movie star, got dumped by many boyfriends and such so she never really understood what true love was...?)

"no one knows why some things work out and some things don't"

was from this woman in a wheelchair, and the expression on her face while she said it was... ):


Oh, before you jab fingers of accusation at me about how you think I'm a lesbo or whatever (SADLY ALOT OF PEOPLE DID THAT OMG DD: I'm ZHI2), I don't like girls for nuts, I just think pretty girls with 气质 are nice. (the second part is important). Julia roberts isn't like drop dead gorgeous but there's just something about her that's kinda..unique in a really good way. No seriously, I don't know what's that special thing she has.

..there were loads of nice scenes, watch it for yourself, you can ask me for it, I guess. Or you're always welcome to my place, that's if I know you. Then we can go awww together while stuffing chips in, like how Terie and I passed our time watching Juno and Phantom of the Opera hahaha!

Alright, I'll stop here, I don't want to ruin the show. Somebody recommended it to me, and I found out that I actually have it in my computer afterall, so I clicked on it and spent two hours in front of the screen while munching away.

YESTERDAY: LAST DAY OF PRELIMS!!!

chem was shit, and during the 2 hour break, I went to 4k for a few seconds because I wanted to study with annia at first. But I decided not to, almost the whole class was there studying ~_~

So, off to the library I went, where Wanzhen, Yingzhi and Terie were. We spent our time looking at the class photos, talking crap and doing anything but studying. Studying before exams is kinda stressfullll ya. The class photos were... -.- my eyes were closed in the formal shot, and basically it didn't turn out too well. HOPE THEY DON'T PUT THE FORMAL SHOT IN THE YEAR BOOK. I've got pictures of them heeheeeee.

Bio was do-able and fine, yay!


After the chem paper and bio paper 1, I lunched with Ashley, Kaiying and xinhui before heading off for tuition.

At 4, I met up with Ashley and Kaiying again, they went to E!hub to watch Hana Yori Dango before that. At the library, we came across this DISGUSTING shelf, its filled with MATH books btw.


just look at the BIG FAT ONE in the middle. "GOD created the INTEGERS".

gawd, go on, have a look at it, its gross.

maths rulez my life. Not.


Kaiying and I got ourselves a couple of chinese books cause our standard is going down, down. Though hers ain't half as bad as mine, haha. Ashley obviously sauntered off to her romance novel section 8D

& I grabbed one of those half-bimbo books for once. It says :"From here to paternity", complete with a cute yellow cover adorned with little pictures of children's toys. GUESS WHAT. ITS WRITTEN BY A MAN ITS WRITTEN BY A MAN.

I'm probably a little sexist but...ITS WRITTEN BY A MAN OMGZ. men don't write these books, they just don't.



After the little trip the library, we settled down at whitesands macs till 7+. Reading, and reading. The irritating background music irritates me, its on friggin repeat O: It wasn't that bad a song in all honesty, got me pretty interested at first but hell, not when you have to listen to it a billion times while reading ):

The chinese book I borrowed was disappointing. Kaiying's good narration helped abit, cause I wouldn't be caught reading such a boring story myself. Its made of short stories, really short ones, and they're all about women falling in love with young men. Yucks. Boring like hell -.-


Btw, the new spicy mcnuggets are really spicyyy. You're hearing this from a person who puts one whole spoonful of chilli in her fishball noodles. (but can't really take too much pepper) I've some pictures in the camera.



I went to some other places after that, and did the grossest thing on earth. I'll decide if I want to tell you what I did 8D hahaha.

its 911 today, so lets observe 911 minutes of silence for what happened 7 years ago. Gosh, it seems as though the catastrophe happened like, 2 years ago or something. Hi I'm a big girl now! yar anyway, I've stopped the 911 chain thing (remember I used to see 911 on clocks EVERYWHERE). (Y)



First things first, I've FINALLY found the MOTIVATION to study you know. That's why I haven't been on the com for TWO FREAKING DAYS. mugging realll hard a day before the exam. Yes, i've been a lazy bum but fret not, I'll turn into a nerd in no time 8D
